Talent Acquisition specialist by day. Product builder every day. I fill roles, then ship the tools teams need to measure hiring, run desks, and move faster.

Selected work

Built from the recruiting floor up.

HomePro Rec Analytics powers hiring metrics at my current company. The Hammitt Group is my boutique manufacturing recruiting firm. The rest are independent products across staffing SaaS, candidate tools, media, utilities, and local brands.

Approach

How the work gets made

Recruiting experience and product shipping are not two resumes. They are one practice: see the friction, build the system, keep supporting it.

  1. 01

    Operate first

I recruit for a living. The products exist because the desk work exposed the gaps first: reporting, pipeline, candidate experience, and local trust.

  2. 02

    Ship the whole thing

Design, frontend, backend, auth, content, SEO, and launch. HomePro Rec Analytics has been built and supported by me for 2+ years inside a real TA org.

  3. 03

    Own the craft

Typography, motion, copy, and conversion get the same attention as the schema. Details are the product, whether the user is a hiring manager or a candidate.

Influences

Who inspires me

Voices I keep close. From Dream Machine grit to Lasso belief, Clear systems, Sinek purpose, and Rohn fundamentals. Lead with heart, then do the hard work anyway.

  1. Real life · Dream Machine

    Charlie Rocket

    Delusional optimism.

Charlie rebuilt his life when the odds said stop. Brain tumor, 300 pounds, career peak cracking open. He chose delusional optimism anyway: Ironman, Nike, Dream Machine, making other people's dreams land. That stubborn belief that the next streak is still available is the fuel I want in recruiting desks and product builds alike.

  2. Fiction · Belief as leadership

    Ted Lasso

    Believe.

Ted leads with curiosity instead of ego. He treats kindness like a competitive advantage, not a soft skill. When hiring gets hard and shipping gets messy, I borrow his playbook: be a goldfish, stay curious, and keep believing the room can get better.

  3. Writing · Atomic Habits

    James Clear

You fall to the level of your systems.

His writing made habits feel like product design. Tiny inputs, compounding outputs, identity over willpower. That is how I think about hiring ops and shipping: build the system so the right behavior is the easy one.

  4. Leadership · Start with Why

    Simon Sinek

People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it.

Sinek keeps pulling me back to purpose before process. In recruiting and in product, the why has to be clear before the pitch, the req, or the feature list. Start there and the rest gets sharper.

    Visit Simon
  5. Personal development · Classic craft

    Jim Rohn

Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.

Rohn's fundamentals still hit: discipline, association, and personal responsibility. The reminder that income and impact follow personal growth keeps me learning, shipping, and raising my own standard.
